Wellington Town Council planning meeting December 2007

The DECEMBER PLANNING meeting of Wellington Town Council will be held in the United Reformed Church Hall in Fore Street, Wellington, on MONDAY, 3RD DECEMBER 2007 at 6pm. Mr John Hamer, Taunton Deane Borough Council’s planning officer, will be in attendance.

1. APOLOGIES

1B. DECLARATION OF INTERESTS
To receive declarations of personal or prejudicial interests, in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

2. APPLICATION TO BE DETERMINED BY TOWN COUNCIL:
(a) Erection of two storey and single storey extensions at 15 Oakfield Park, Wellington (43/2007/l48). Planning officer recommends refusal (report enclosed). Letters of objection from Mr A. Bull, Mrs J. Adnitt, Mr and Mrs R. Perrett, Mr and Mrs Gillard on the grounds that the extensions are too big, intrusive and out of keeping (enclosed)

3. TO CONSIDER WHAT COMMENTS TO MAKE ON THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS WHICH WILL BE DETERMINED BY TAUNTON DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL:
(a) Erection of supermarket (1,965sq.m) with associated car parking and servicing on land to the rear of 36-46 High Street, Wellington (43/2007/163: partial amendment to planning permission 43/2004/141: Planning officer’s initial comments: Relatively minor changes to previously approved scheme, likely to be acceptable)
(b) Construction of a timber double garage, caretaker’s workshop and greenhouse plus the creation of 9 additional parking spaces at Court Fields Community School, Mantle Street, Wellington (43/2007/161: re-submission of 43/2007/013 which was withdrawn) This is a county council application and will be decided by the county council, not Taunton DBC.

3. TO CONSIDER WHAT COMMENTS TO MAKE ON THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS WHICH WILL BE DETERMINED BY TAUNTON DBC (CONTINUED):
(c) Erection of first floor extension above garage, two storey, single storey and porch extensions to the north elevation at 17 Monument Close, Wellington (43/2007/160: revised design to 43/2007/105: Planning officer’s initial comments: Likely to be acceptable)
(d) Alterations to fenestration at Unit B, Drakes Place, Wellington (43/2007/156LB and 43/2007/162)
(e) Display of advertisement board at Cades Farm, Wellington (43/2007/159A)

PLEASE NOTE: COPIES OF ALL PLANNING APPLICATIONS TO BE DETERMINED AND CONSIDERED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL WILL BE ON DISPLAY IN THE UNITED REFORMED CHURCH HALL FROM 5.50PM ONWARDS ON MONDAY 3RD DECEMBER 2007
