Wellington Town Council meeting March 2007
The MARCH meeting of Wellington Town Council will be held in the main hall of the United Reformed Church in Fore Street, Wellington, on Monday, 5th March 2007 at 7.30pm when it is hoped that you will be able to attend. Please note that the meeting will start 30 minutes later than usual due to heavy agenda for planning meeting.

6. MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:
(a) Minutes 14108 Buckwell vandalism and 14110 High Street vandalism: Letter from Police Insp. Mike Ashwin (for information) and to report that an application has been received from Buckwell Neighbourhood Watch requesting the installation of relocatable CCTV camera (this will be considered by the town council’s CCTV working panel)
(b) Minute 14116 All Saints’ Church bus stops/signs: Letter from First Bus Group stating bus stops at All Saints are still in use (for information)
(c) Minute 14119 Wellington Squash Club grant request: Letter from squash club thanking council for its support (for information)
(d) Minute 14120 30mph speed limit extension at Burchills Hill: Letter from Somerset Highways stating limit will be extended with more details
for town council when scheme finalised (for information)
(e) Minute 14130 Possible dual use of footpaths: Letter from Somerset Highways stating proposals are supported and that these will be considered as part of the Local Transport Plan. A further report will be received by the town council in due course (for information)
(f) Minute 14135 County council area working panels: Letter from SCC re second meeting of the Taunton Deane area working panel will be held at Otterford Parish Hall on 27th March from 7pm-9pm (for information)
(g) Minute 14082 (8th January meeting) Town centre signs: Letter from Jason Ham asking the council to reconsider its decision or possibly erect a sign just to the arts centre (for decision)
(h) Minute 14084 (8th January meeting) Age Concern Somerset grant request: Letter of thanks from Age Concern (for information)
(i) Minute 13754 (3rd April 2006) Emptying dog bins: To consider accepting quote by Deane DLO of £1.96 per visit for emptying dog waste bins (for decision: last year the quote was £1.89)
(j) Minute 14074 (8th January meeting) Adoption update at Burrough Way: To report that Taunton DBC has agreed to the adoption of public open spaces at Swains Lane, Burrough Way, Rope Walk, Immenstadt Drive and adjoining A38 (for information)
(k) Minute 14136 Tonedale bridge repairs: Letter from Somerset Highways stating Linden Hill/Burchills Hill will be closing for up to five weeks from 19th March while bridge repairs are carried out (for information)
