Wellington Town Council December 2006 council meeting
The DECEMBER meeting of Wellington Town Council will be held in the main hall of the United Reformed Church in Fore Street, Wellington, on Monday, 4th December 2006 at 7pm.
The December planning meeting of the town council will also be held in the URC hall on Monday, 4th December 2006 at 6pm for which there is a separate agenda.

(e) Minute 13901 (7th August meeting) Electoral review of Taunton Deane Borough: To report that the Electoral Commissioners have accepted the final recommendations of the Boundary Committee for England, namely the transfer of 150 electors in the Waterloo Road and Corams Lane area from Wellington North ward to Wellington West ward and 70 electors in the Hoyles Road area from Wellington East ward to Wellington West ward to provide a better balance of electoral quality and quantity (for information)

(g) Minute 13608 (5th December 2005 meeting): Proposed Rotary sign at town entrance: Letter from Wellington Rotary Club asking council to support request for sign (for decision: clerk’s note: Last year the council decided not to support the request because it was felt it would lead to a clutter of such signs which other worthy clubs in Wellington might want to erect if a precedent was set and also because the council was told that the county council’s highway policy was not to allow such signs)
