Wellington Town Council meeting December 2007

The DECEMBER meeting of Wellington Town Council will be held in the main hall of the United Reformed Church in Fore Street, Wellington, on Monday, 3RD DECEMBER 2007 at 7pm.
The council’s planning meeting will also be held on Monday, 3rd December 2007 in the URC Church Hall at 6pm for which a separate agenda and papers are enclosed.
The December Finance Committee meeting will be held in the URC Church Hall on Monday, 3rd December 2007 at 5.15pm. Papers and agenda will be issued at the meeting.

2. APPLICATION TO BE DETERMINED BY TOWN COUNCIL:
(a) Erection of two storey and single storey extensions at 15 Oakfield Park, Wellington (43/2007/l48). Planning officer recommends refusal (report enclosed). Letters of objection from Mr A. Bull, Mrs J. Adnitt, Mr and Mrs R. Perrett, Mr and Mrs Gillard on the grounds that the extensions are too big, intrusive and out of keeping (enclosed)

3. TO CONSIDER WHAT COMMENTS TO MAKE ON THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS WHICH WILL BE DETERMINED BY TAUNTON DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL:
(a) Erection of supermarket (1,965sq.m) with associated car parking and servicing on land to the rear of 36-46 High Street, Wellington (43/2007/163: partial amendment to planning permission 43/2004/141: Planning officer’s initial comments: Relatively minor changes to previously approved scheme, likely to be acceptable)
(b) Construction of a timber double garage, caretaker’s workshop and greenhouse plus the creation of 9 additional parking spaces at Court Fields Community School, Mantle Street, Wellington (43/2007/161: re-submission of 43/2007/013 which was withdrawn) This is a county council application and will be decided by the county council, not Taunton DBC.
